Hammer's Hardwood Classic Boys' winners semifinals McMinn County 64, Stone Memorial 44. Cherokees cruise into their bracket's championship game, which is 5 p.m. Monday back at CAK. Maddox Frazier 20 points, Abe Reinbold 18, Beau Harbin 10. @DPASports

@DPASports BBB FINAL: Bradley Central 55, McMinn County 53. An Abe Reinbold tip-in with 0.2 seconds left gives the Cherokees a faint glimmer of hope but the Bears get the inbounds in to end it. A flurry of turnovers and Bradley offensive boards did in the Tribe the 4th quarter. @DPASports

@DPASports BBB FINAL: McMinn County 78, Hardin Valley 70. Cherokees secure their first District 4-4A win with a 27-20 fourth quarter. Maddox Frazier and Abe Reinbold with 22 points each to lead the Cherokees. Dax Pennington also with 12. @DPASports

BBB FINAL McMinn County 60, Meigs County 57 Awesome game. Brody Goines’ potential game tying three just hit back iron at the horn. Cherokees win all three games against the Tigers in the early season, perhaps none more impressive than tonight missing three of its best players to injury. Dax Pennington was tremendous in his first start — an efficient 25 points on 6/8 FG, 3/3 3P, 10/14 FT. Meigs was led by Gavin Malone’s 29 points and 7 rebounds. @DPASports

@DPASports FINAL | McMinn County 58, East Ridge 39 Cherokees win their first game of their Luxedo Holiday Classic. They’ll play Meigs County Friday at 4:30 p.m., which will be the first of three matchups between the area rivals between now and Dec. 9. Abe Reinbold led with 24. @DPASports

BBB FINAL: McMinn County 73, Loudon 62. Abe Reinbold steps up big in the 4th quarter with 10 of his game-high 21 points as the Cherokees fend off the pesky Redskins and move to 2-0. @DPASports
