I hate when I feel like a night is ruined because the people around me were so terrible. I just did not have fun the whole game. Shout out to the guy directly next to me and my usual peeps. The only ones allowed back.

Crowd was weak tonight. I tried my best, but was surprised how many of the regulars in my section were absent. Everyone too tempted by the massive profit on the resale market. Wednesday buyers were all in, this group just wanted an easy show.

A very Philadelphia morning for me today. Grabbed a coffee and walked up to old city in my Zegras jersey, got a few LGF. Practicing for tonight’s refs, I got a quick boo in on the planned parenthood protestors in front of independence hall. Picked up my engagement ring on Jewelers’ Row just after.

@pwilliamsAHL I was a mite on ice at a sound tigers game back in the day, my elementary chorus sang the national anthem. We would run around the upper decks playing tag. Great hometown team for southern CT big loss.

And so it ends for the Bridgeport Islanders after 25 seasons. It's not just a team losing a playoff series. It's people losing jobs, fans losing their team and a way to socialize each winter, and the city losing something that only 32 markets in North America get to have.

It's tough because you don't want to mess with the lineup until you lose a game. But something obviously needs to change with the Barkey-Cates-Michkov line. Just not enough size on that line to get out of their own zone. Going to need Bump in there at some point.
