@SethFein @poetplain Vern taught Rhetoric 108, “Revolutionary Thought” in fall 1969; I recall him taking up with a girl in our class. Once he asked what we considered an appropriate revolutionary act, and after listening to our proposals asked “what about bombing Follettes book store? Good times.

@217Showers Urbana’s soccer program has been relatively amazing because of the hard work of Randy Blackman. The football and baseball programs have been absolute garbage since 1987 because of former Illini football player and all around piece of shit, Mason Minnes. These are known facts.

liked it better when it was essentially a public park that we could all walk/bike around (for the past two years or so), better public use of green space and infrastructure just imo. it'll be a nice golf course also, i'm sure.
