Dude @oakland627, Hezekiah Masses is interesting. He's got great film. Makes plays and he's 6'1 185 lbs... why wasn't he picked earlier?

Trading a first for a WR that’s about to turn 29 when the team has taken so many correct steps in an actual rebuild is one of the worst things the raiders could do

New TDL just dropped with @mholder95 breaking down the last two picks of day 2. OL Trey Zuhn III and edge rusher Keyron Crawford.
Check it out with the link below.
What is your grade for the pick of Keyron Crawford

Henning was the second overall pick in the CFL draft. He weighs in just a shade under 300 lbs and is new to playing tackle, he was a TE as recently as 2024.

Perkins is intriguing, short with short arms but dynamic athlete with 40.5" vert and 10'5" broad. 4.5 flat 40 at just under 5'10"

I do think Raider fans should be concerned that he has a say. It's not even necessarily because of his educational background. It's because he has a history being dishonest and preying on vulnerable people. I dont think that a person who does that should be involved. We can agree to disagree on that.
English

Sorry, it wasn’t that you made the specific statement of Guerrero making all the decisions, it was just that your original post indicated he should have zero say and Raiders fans should be afraid of the fact he has a say. Maybe one day request to speak with him and listen to see what his involvement is and how he would go about the recovery process in McCoy’s case. You went to a prestigious school, Guerrero did not. That shouldn’t preclude him from being able to have an opinion on medical matters or the recovery process.
English

A name i keep hearing in relation to Jermod McCoy that should be frightening to Raider fans: Alex Guerrero.
If there is one person who should have absolutely zero input into McCoy's medical decision making it's a fraudulent quack who portrays himself as a doctor and pedals snake oil.
He should have zero input in the medical department for the Raiders, yet the way he has talked about it sounds like he is held in high regard. That should scare Raider fans, and its incredibly disrespectful to the real healthcare professionals that are employed by the team.
English

@SethMurphyBBD Well apparently I know more than you on the subject, if you are under the belief that it’s one guy making the decisions.

@joeyrscotland good on you for thinking you know exactly how decisions are made in the buildin
English

I’m not mad at anyone. I just have no issue with Guerrero. I’m also ok with non-western traditional medical practices as long as they work. We sometimes get married to traditional ways to heal and that’s not the only way to heal from an injury. The decisions being made by the team for injured players is not based solely on one person but multiple people in the building.
English

I think i know whats going on in the building because Raiders staff is saying exactly what's going on.
Guerrero's background is traditional Chinese medicine. He's been sanctioned for claiming to be a doctor who claims he can cure AIDS with supplements that he sells. I dont think its a hot take to say that person shouldn't be making medical decisions in an NFL building.
I think youre mad at the wrong person here brother.
English

He should. He’s on the staff and has a medical background. He extended the career of Brady and is trusted by him. I tend to trust people that have actual knowledge on a subject, instead of giving an opinion based on nothing. But good on you for thinking you know exactly how decisions are made in the building and who should be the decision makers. I’m sure your experience running a NFL organization is much more extensive than anyone in the industry. Have a blessed one.
English

@joeyrscotland Brandon Hunt in the press conference "we have a great medical staff life we said, [Chris] Cortez and Alex [Guerrero]... we are going to get in the building and make all the decisions..."
He shouldn't have any say in the draft decision or recovery. Sounds like he has both.
English

Yes, he said Guerrero was part of the review team. He didn’t say anything about him being part of the recovery process. That is you assuming, and I’m assuming you don’t like him and that’s what prompted your original post. Just because you assume about Guerrero being part of the recovery process doesn’t make it true.

I do notice that his stride is shorter approaching the line and then extends his stride once he hits the hole. kinda key so that he can cut as needed but has that length to really explode. as opposed to DMC who just had those long strides so really did best with toss plays.

#Raiders rookie RB Mike Washington Jr. is a long strider Easy to see the effortless speed from him
English

@joeyrscotland As far as where Guerrero's name has come up in relation to the McCoy situation see the Brandon Yeargan Brandon Hunt press conference as well as Spytek's interview with Kay Adams
English

@joeyrscotland Guerrero doesnt have a medical license, his background is in traditional medicine from a now dissolved "university". He shouldn't have any say in who is or isn't draftable based on injuries.

@SethMurphyBBD Why he had Brady playing at a high level until his mid 40s. He may rub some people the wrong way but that doesn't mean he's an incompetent doctor.
