MD gave so much to @HokiesMBB and the university. An amazing ambassador for the university and program. He was a true student athlete. Please don't disrespect him. The guy was an everyday guy on and off the court.

MD well said. You guys were always about the program and the process of building a culture and identity. People forget that 5 year period we were the 3rd winningest program in the @theACC You guys poured your hearts and souls into the program. Love you guys

Remember sr year after getting snubbed and our sr class going into @SethOnHoops office telling him we wanted to pass on the NIT. He didn’t force us to do anything but told us that we put on too much work as a class to walk away like that and it was a group of guys following us ready to take over the keys and it was bigger than us. As much as I didn’t want to play we found a way to. Can’t say I loved it but it was bigger than us. College basketball is more about the players not the programs now. 🤷🏽

I think one of the toughest things @KUHoops has to figure out is to play with DP but keep him aggressive He can't be a spectator.

That last @KUHoops basket(28) is exactly what I have been talking about. DP getting his shots in the flow. Everyone staying aggressive not just playing thru DP.
