RHEMA FOR LIVING OFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL DR. LIZZY JOHNSON-SULEMAN MONDAY 6TH APRIL, 2026 BIBLE READING: Deut. 22-24 TOPIC : GOD HAS NOT CHANGED TEXT For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Malachi 3:6 The situation you are going through does not mean God has changed. He will surely visit you and turn your story around. He has done it multiple times beyond numbering in scriptures and in our present time and will do it again in your life. He is the same God that parted the Red Sea and made the Israelites walk through on bare ground; He is the same God who drowned the stubborn enemies (Pharaoh and all his host) who have been troubling them for several years, yet see chase after them, to bring them back to bondage. He is the same God who channeled Joseph's life to the palace in a strange land despite all the circumstances of disappointment, betrayal, lies etc (Genesis 37:39-41). He is the same God who out of nowhere brought out a teenage girl called Esther who is an orphan with an uncle who is a gatekeeper and made her the queen in a strange land (Esther 1 and 2). He is the same God who brought water out of the rock (Exodus 17:6), rain manna from heaven, blew quails with His winf for them to eat in the wilderness (Exodus 16:13). He is the same God who made Sarah a mother at 90 (Genesis 21), gave Hannah a Samuel and added five other children to her. He is the same God who called Abraham out of his father's house at age 75 without him knowing where God was taking him to (Genesis 12), and just within a short while the promise of God was made manifest in his life (Genesis 13:2). He is the same God who made the nations who came up against Jehoshaphat and the Israelite to fight themselves until they were all dead men (2 Chronicles 20). He is the same God who despite the disability of the four lepers in 2 King 7, use their ability to bring abundance to the land. In your own life, He is the same God who has brought you this far, despite all efforts of the enemy to limit you and keep you in bondage. Child of God, in this your present situation, why not trust Him and commit yourself to Him. He will not fail you because He is the same faithful God. Prayer : "My Father, My Father! As I begin to pray, I commit my life into your hands. You are a faithful God.

Some people are confused and questioning why Trump spent over $600 million dollars just to rescue 1 airman. But this is not about the money; it's about the intent and what was at stake. If Trump had failed to evacuate the airman safely, it will bring America to international ridicule. And through that safe evacuation, Trump sent a strong signal to the US army - we're with you and no matter the circumstances; we'll come for you. These are the kind of soldiers you pray never to fight against. Because they're ready to risk it all for their country. And through that safe evacuation, Trump just reminded not just Iran but the entire world, what the US Special Forces are capable of. FAFO.

US Embassy who denies any such deportation. Any deportation of us citizen must go through the embassy, of which none was made. If such a statement is true let it be known the Nigerian government is intentionally lying to both Nigeria and the international community.

Yesterday, I spent Easter Sunday with our dear President, Bola Tinubu, and my bestie Aliko Dangote. We discussed the economy and how Nigerians can benefit from the reforms. On a day of resurrection and renewal, Mr President was still working. That kind of commitment gives you hope for Nigeria 🇳🇬 … F.Ote💲

For decades, the Islamic Republic of Iran has tried to control faith. Conversion from Islam is treated as a crime punishable by death. Bibles are confiscated. House churches are raided. Pastors are arrested, imprisoned, and killed. Yet Christianity has quietly grown... not in public churches, but in living rooms, basements, and small apartments where believers gather behind closed doors. Marziyeh Amirizadeh and Maryam Rostampour distributed 20,000 Bibles across Iran and founded two secret house churches. In 2009, both were arrested, imprisoned in the infamous Evin Prison, and sentenced to death by hanging. When interrogators demanded the name of her pastor, Marziyeh answered: "Jesus Christ is my pastor." She was released after 259 days following diplomatic pressure from the United States government and intervention by Pope Benedict XVI. Her fellow prisoner and friend, Shirin Alam Hooli, a Kurdish political activist detained in the same prison, was later executed. Iran is now widely described as having one of the fastest-growing evangelical movements in the world, driven by converts who chose faith despite the consequences. The Islamic Republic spent 45 years trying to eliminate Christianity among its own people. It failed. If this regime eventually falls, the church that grew in secret will simply step into the light. The same Christians who endured decades of repression without being silenced could become some of the country's most powerful witnesses. Dictatorships can demand outward conformity. They cannot manufacture inward conviction. The underground church in Iran has survived the regime.
