🇬🇧 🇲🇽 This Saturday’s event in Mexico is especially intriguing. The UFC has matched 26-year-old Lone’er Kavanagh, currently unranked and coming off a KO loss, against Top-6 veteran Brandon Moreno. Lone'er has the most unusual genetic mix in the UFC: his father was Irish and his mother is Chinese. When he was six years old, his father suddenly died of a heart attack. Two years later, his mother enrolled him in martial arts so he could learn to stand up for himself. At 11, Lone'er was hit by a car. Due to multiple injuries, he had to switch gyms, moving from a more aggressive striking style to wushu sanda. That’s where he developed his fluid movement and precision. His current MMA record is 9–1. In his last fight, despite being the favorite, he was knocked out by Charles Johnson. He’s just 2–1 in the UFC and 4–0 in Cage Warriors. Surprisingly, out of the entire flyweight roster, only Kavanagh agreed to fly to Mexico on short notice. The reason is that Mexico City sits at 2.2 km (7,200 ft) above sea level. It’s mid-altitude, so serious cardio preparation is required to go five rounds there.

@SethyP_3 @EvanNikolich @PlayApex That is not going to make the slightest difference, I did read the notes. This couldn't even be considered a nerf, as it will still do the same dmg, mid/late game wont change. Pk size blast pattern when choked, doesnt change the dmg, and only when choked.

Patch notes for next split of @PlayApex ! Looking to challenge Ash's dominance and bring some power to Seer.

The amount of people commenting on this without doing any research is fuckin insane. Half don’t even realize he was using steam configs on controller to allow him to tap strafe. Doesn’t matter if MnK can do it without. Tap strafing on roller was always scummy idc

@gort71424 @Lilfredson1 not here to argue mechanics. I just remember this clip was really controversial, and I don’t think this is a good representation of your point. This fight was influenced by the tap strafe config. One button press doesn’t scream pure mechanical prowess.

@SethyP_3 @Lilfredson1 So was extessy not mechanically gifted? Hal got about 30 bullets off before the tap strafe even happened. Did the config make Shotzzy hit the bullets too? Aim is a mechanical gift, COD pros have more of this gift.

This is 0 hate but just a fact there is not a single current cod pro who could come over to Apex and out gun my 12 year old child in the range and I promise you that.

@gort71424 @Lilfredson1 This is Shotzzy tap strafing on roller to avoid being magged, which is not a mechanical gift but a config that was removed from the game. This was a pretty big controversy when this clip happened because he was using the configs for an advantage.

@Lilfredson1 I have 5K Apex and rarely play COD, Apex does have the steeper learning curve and more difficult mechanics, but the top COD pros are simply more mechanically gifted gamers than Apex pros. This is Hal losing a 1v1 to Shotzzy after he had just picked up the game THAT offseason.
