The controversial rec center expansion continues to make it's way through South Orange's planning process. The expansion has become a flashpoint in town-gown relations since neighbors alleged Seton Hall's expansion contributed to catastrophic flooding off campus. Follow along:

It's S.O. planning board time again, and yet again public comment on the rec center expansion is being delayed. It was originally supposed to reopen at the January meeting after a contentious December meeting ran late into the evening. 🧵⬇️

South Orange Planning Board is back to discuss the controversial expansion of Seton Hall's rec center, which activists fear will worsen flooding. Chairman Harold Colton-Max has assured us that the issue won't be resolved until at least Feb 6.
