Seward’s Fortnite team took home the Division 2 NSeSA Fortnite State Championship, winning 3 out of the 4 matches. Way to go, Jays!

Champs at Fairbury! Both girls and boys placed 1st. They cut through the wind like sharks through water! TUFF!

Boys were champs and the girls were 2nd in the Sandhills Division at Concordia University. It was a great day for both teams. TUFF.

Lauren Frihauf wins by tech fall in semi-finals- will battle a fellow returning state champ in finals. If you want to watch, they will be on Nebraska Public Media at 6pm and streamed on their YouTube channel. Evie Theobald went 1-1 on the day falling just short of a medal.

Lauren Frihauf is a 2x state champion, using a late reversal to take the lead and riding it out to win by 1 in the finals, showing the grit and determination she’s built her career on.

Unfortunately, the NCAA has not responded to my waiver request for a year of D1 eligibility. I had asked for this oppurtunity due to playing JUCO. It's disappointing to not have the opportunity to accept offers I had received while being in the portal. However I am not here to diss the NCAA. I want to thank everyone who made this journey worth it. I owe a special thanks to all my teammates I've had over the years and coaches who have given me opportunites to showcase my dedication to the game. I am forever blessed to have an amazing family who made sacrifices for me to play not only football, but youth sports as well. I couldn't have gotten to this point without y'all. Thank you to the Seward Community and Athletics Programs, College of DuPage Athletics, and the University of Indianapolis Athletics for helping me grow as an athlete while also challenging me to hold that same standard off the field. With all that being said I will be exploring other possibilities to play and or coach the game of football.
