In ‘#Doraemon’, #Nobita is portrayed as hyperopic, not myopic. On the Page 180, Vol 2 (‘Dinosaur Hunter’), Nobita uses his glasses refract rays. Only hyperopic glasses can do that, never myopic ones. Fujiko is very rigorous, no way he wouldn’t be familiar with this basic sense.

@toadricetsu Not a “new-found phenomenon” anymore. China Central TV from the Chinese mainland covered a 🇹🇭Thai Buddhist temple using #Doraemon to pray for rain as early as 2013, and even a Doraemon fan site from Taiwan also mentioned it in 2011. They’re both more than a decade ago.
