@VitalistInt So TN was under Union control by 1862 so I doubt it would have been broken up, and I could see the Carolinas and Georgia staying the same because 13 colonies and what not, but the rest of the states 1000% should have been redrawn

South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, and North Carolina should never have existed again after 1861. Their borders should have been dissolved with new territories developed under stewardship by the Freedmen.
