Hello X, Evidence here. It’s been over four months since my last appearance here. Social media was overwhelming for me and I was losing my identity. Leaving social media wasn’t as bad as I’d imagined. I didn’t die. I’ve realized that the prospect of a potential opportunity one would miss by going offline is an illusion. In those months a lot has happened. I lost a friend and her death is one I haven’t fully come to terms with. I quit my job with Afrocritik. I stopped actively reading Contemporary Nigerian literature and writing book reviews. I went bald ( does this count?). I yielded fully to God. I graduated from uni with a “strong 2.1” etc. I have decided to explore other aspects of me. So I have begun embracing culture writing, art writing, journalism, criticism and fashion modeling. @JollyPaps1 is one person who spurred the change in my writing career. Thank you so much, sir. My twin sister @plantcodesss has been by my side throughout this process. Have you a good sister. Now that I am back on social media, X especially because Instagram is overwhelming, I am looking to connect with . Artists/ art enthusiasts . Journalists . Techies . Culture writers . Art writers . Unashamed Christians . Critics (not people who just have big mouths) . Photographers/ videographers Know anyone? Please tag them here. I’ll love to connect with them.
