@bryanedwardhill For the longest time I thought YMMV stood for You Make Me Vomit and I couldn't understand why people would sign off so unexpectedly harshly. Better than my friend's mom who thought LOL was Lots of Love and would say things like: "Oh no, your dog died? Sorry to hear that. LOL."

Here's the magic trick to writing a novel. Start at the left side of the page, and put words until you get to the right side. Then drop down a line, rinse and repeat. YMMV.

@bryanedwardhill I think it is already a thing. It used to be who you know. Now it is who you know AND who knows you. Many gatekeepers (publishers, managers, agents etc) expect to benefit from the audience that you bring to them. Kind of like big tech companies that just buy out the competition.

Is this a thing? This shouldn’t be a thing. Who cares how many followers someone has? Let’s all work together to keep this from being a thing.
