It's nearly the end of another amazing school year... which means this week we've had lots of extra activities to celebrate everybody's hard work and achievements! The #schooldisco was especially popular!

Place House students held a #bakesale to raise funds for Life Chance Trust. They used their new cookery skills to create delicious sweet & savoury treats: sausage rolls, chilli dogs, cakes, biscuits & brownies... They've raised over £65 and made us all very happy! #skillsforlife

Our older students really enjoyed their sports day this week, working together in teams to compete in a variety of outdoor activities - and staff got to join in as well! Well done everyone for contributing to such a great event.

As part of their #RSE Relationships & Sexual Education curriculum, our Place House classes have been engaging with brilliant sessions from @BrookCharity about Online Safety, sparking lots of interesting debate and discussion. Well done all! @BrookCharity #staysafeonline

It's #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek - good mental health is ALWAYS important, but this week's a great way to promote & support the cause. 2023's theme is ANXIETY, really relevant with teens in exam time, so this week we'll share tips & activities to try at home 💚 @mentalhealth

Students and staff have been hard at work this week learning all about the Coronation - creating poems, artwork and some delicious cakes fit for a new King... they even had a very special visitor to the school....  😂 #Coronation #CoronationWeekend #KingCharles

For #InternationalDanceWeek, students were inspired & motivated by the energy & enthusiasm of the talented Katie Murray from Step Up & Dance! 💃🕺All classes enjoyed the #streetdance with themes to suit their age group and interests... great exercise and great fun!

The smile says it all! Place House student Connor is super proud of this fab 'Taz' cushion he's made in craft sessions - and his therapy buddy Rufus 🐕 obviously approves as well... #creativity #crafttherapy
