One bad call is a mistake. A pattern is a problem. Argentina keep getting the benefit of the doubt in key moments, and it’s becoming hard to ignore. They’re good enough to win on merit, which makes it even more frustrating that the officiating is overshadowing Messi’s brilliance.

I think Reijnders has more to his game but it's neutered by how uncomfortable he looks when he has to duel or defend.
So coaches push him up, and goalscoring is his best quality in those zones.
