As a person in my 40s, the world will not be what you think it will be for what you want. It’s best to find another path. This isn’t to be mean, it’s logical. Unless you are studying to be a doctor, scientist, engineer, technology or a career in math it’s no longer worth going to college. The market is over saturated. Why do you think Gen z unemployment is worse than any other generation.

People are calling this a symptom of anti-intellectualism but it's really just a symptom of capitalist individualism. Instead of treating education as the societal good it should be, it's been sold as a means to personal financial success, and it's failing at that completely.
