@ShacoMidLane you might be missing out bro 100 more posts of you posting like this and you could be $8 richer
thats enough for like, a nice cheeseburger, maybe
English

@RinTezuka9 I have a full time job, I have no intentions of monetising my X anytime soon.
English

@ShacoMidLane alr i looked it up for you you could make like $8 per 1m views so just keep it up this post got 11k so you're like 1/100th of the way there
i believe in you
English

@RinTezuka9 What's dogshit about my takes? All I see is you attacking me instead of discussing the actual contents of my post.
English

@ShacoMidLane bro you should enable monetization with these dogshit takes you've got you could be making bank i'm telling you dude
English

am i giving you five cents or like 2
English

@RinTezuka9 How is that engagement bait? Plenty of people claim it's illegal but I have yet to see someone substantiate any legal grounds for action.
English

@ShacoMidLane blue checkmark engagement bait
get that bread lil bro
English

@SAjoats @EAnus68951 @clonician @shinfours Correct. It renders the hardware unusable for Valorant / League thats it. If you don't cheat there's nothing to worry about in that regard.
People are falsely claiming it destroys your PC as if you cannot use it for anything anymore.
English

@ShacoMidLane @EAnus68951 @clonician @shinfours Thats's all it does is prevent the game from starting?
English

@ShacoMidLane Just wait until somebody at riot games doesn't like your mouth software and they ban your fucking Mac address and you're crying like a little bitch. And I'll just tell you well too fucking bad you put that malware on your computer you asked for it bitch
English

@IFlippedTheChip @finn53157685 It doesnt disable the hardware, it merely disables it for Riot games. There's misinformation going around that claims it destroys your PC.
English

@ShacoMidLane @finn53157685 That’s a ban not disablement. Try again
English

@Existsindeath @shinfours I am certain my legal credentials are more extensive than yours.
English

@ShacoMidLane @shinfours No. That isn’t how that works. Immou is extremely unstable. They are altering bios settings. That can make you system extremely unstable. The CFAA is federal law. If you don’t understand federal law there is no reason for you to be commenting on it.
English

@ShacoMidLane @finn53157685 Show me where in the terms of service it says they get to disable my hardware if they decide I’ve been bad. The law doesn’t say “if you break a ToS, then the company is allowed to do anything they want to you, and damage anything you own.”
English

@Existsindeath @shinfours The average person could not do that indeed, that's the whole issue.
Moreover, it only prevents you from playing the games of which the TOS were breached. Your computer will still be able to run everything else fine, therefore CFAA can't do shit about it.
English

@ShacoMidLane @shinfours The CFAA doesn’t give a shit about that. All they care about is could the average person do this. Federal law doesn’t really care about your lame opinions.
English

@Existsindeath @shinfours The average computer user doesn't buy 6k equipment to cheat in games.
If you buy such setup you know what you're doing.
English

@ShacoMidLane @shinfours No they did actually brick computers. By what they did under the CFAA the average computer user doesn’t know how to fix it. They have no standing in this. The judge would take one look and side with the consumer. Not to mention riot is already on bad terms with the FTC.
English

@Gigabear_X @shinfours What investigations are you referring to?
English

@ShacoMidLane @shinfours Riot claims it's not bricking PCs or hardware. The investigations will determine the truth of it.
English

@xen_studio I am not saying that that is not the case. The software goes into the core of your computer.
The discussion is out of scope for the latest controversy though and that's a general anti kernel discussion. Therefore out of scope for this.
English

@ShacoMidLane You're saying Vanguard's kernel access & IOMMU are unrelated. They aren't. To securely use IOMMU, you MUST have Ring-0 access.. otherwise a rootkit just spoofs the check. That proves my point: Vanguard demands root authority over entire OS.
