How youre able to turn into an X vessel is simple: just be more into general exe media rather than normal sonic medias, thus why the exe fandom is canon in this what if. Thaaaats basically it ig, its just a little fun idea i got from op, nothing else much.

The pros of an X vessel are little to none, while its cons are not only physical (severe pain from the void energy risking being deleted from existance) but also social (the other vessels will most likely confuse you as the real X, so youll be traveling alone most of the time)
