@JoshFG I assume your solution to this is to keep legislating for further increases in the minimum wage, which will cause unemployment to rise as more businesses can't afford to keep paying their staff? I really think you (and most of the Labour Party) are detached from economic reality.
English

@ShadowSong4770 The majority of people on working age benefits are in work, so that would actively harm the working people who are struggling you mention.

If you want a party who’ll fight for billionaires who live in Thailand then vote reform. They certainly aren’t interested in representing you.

“I’ll fight Starmer’s donor ban” Reform’s billionaire backer says Christopher is a real patriot. Thank you Tories, lefties & Establishment are terrified. Why they’re so desperate to smear us all at Reform Now attacking our need for safety & security telegraph.co.uk/politics/2026/…

@The_kylepuzzo @GolfTipsChecker Tbh I've never taken much of an interest in that tournament. I'll try and give it a go this year!

@ShadowSong4770 @GolfTipsChecker I think the Myrtle course is super underrated personally

@PGATOUR @RBC_Heritage Can't hear the USA chants anymore. Audio issues?

@MythoYookay I'm also "very worried" about the "big problems" in England. Where can I go to bring up my kids?

@TheModelManiac He actually made the sensible call in pitching out from the rough. But that third shot was inexcusable!

@Louise_m_perry I was just having this discussion with someone. It's bizarre to me that people would celebrate his murder in prison and simultaneously argue against the death penalty for crimes such as his.
English

Perhaps it would be better to bring back de jure capital punishment, rather than celebrate when other prisoners dish out de facto capital punishment every now and then

Ian Huntley, who murdered two 10-year-old girls in 2002, is now dead. Good riddance. One less evil and twisted person on earth. 👋🏽

@KylePorterNS Scottie has played 24 rounds... so this is essentially meaningless

@GoodwinMJ I work for a large further education college. The amount of non UK nationals we get through the door who are eligible for free study (because they claim UC) is absolutely insane. Some of them also barely understand basic English despite living here for several years.

@Bamfordgolf @GolfBetting
So close... Thanks for a great year of podcasts gents. Looking forward to more in 2026!

@ShadowSong4770 It is my belief that willingness to allow children to live in poverty, and for their future life chances to be damaged as a result, is not the actions of a civilised compassionate society.
English

Two thirds of children in poverty have a parent in work. A legacy of Helen’s party. She’s either going on the news being intentionally dishonest about this or she doesn’t understand the legacy of her own parties government.
Helen Whately MP@Helen_Whately
Endless handouts don’t lift children out of poverty. Getting parents into work does. Scrapping the 2-child cap isn’t kind, fair to taxpayers or affordable... yet we're the only party who sees this.
