I legitimately participated in the leaderboard, wagered a significant amount, and finished with an expected reward of $280. After the event ended, BetBolt refused to pay, claiming participants were disqualified for "wager abuse."
The issue is simple: no such rule was ever disclosed before or during the promotion. Neither ButcherX nor BetBolt communicated any restrictions or eligibility requirements regarding "wager abuse." It is unacceptable to introduce or enforce undisclosed rules only after the leaderboard has concluded.
Several participants appear to have been affected by the same decision. If eligibility requirements existed, they should have been clearly published before anyone committed their time and money.
Transparency and fairness are essential for any promotion. Retroactively denying rewards based on rules that were never communicated seriously undermines trust in both the promotion and the platform.
I expect BetBolt to provide a clear explanation, disclose the rules that were allegedly violated, and honor the rewards that participants earned under the terms that were actually communicated.
