There's no assumption, it's what the traveler deduced from the spaceship log

"thousands" means at least 2000, so she could have arrived 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 (which is when the moons were destroyed), etc

@slaaa1995 @rusnotreallyrus @teyvattabloid It's speculation, but it's more feasible than her somehow disappearing from the ship when it crashed landed and never being able to find the ship until direidyth told her Aether was around. If she stepped down when they first got to Teyvat, it would all make sense
