After thinking more about this bo3/bo5 stuff, lowkey 2-stock bo5 is more competitively valid than 3-stock bo3 In an ideal world, we could play all 3-stock bo5 for the events with more time, and 2-stock bo5 in pools for the events that have less time Maybe that's a bit much lol

@zaqkwithaq And even then, it can be hit or miss too. Riptide in particular had a habit of having one good year followed by one awful year.

@zaqkwithaq i think it really depends on the venue itself. some FGC based events were fine, but some end up like this. It's not like we get treated that much better in other plat-fighter based events either.

my only opinion on rivals 2 at frosty faustings this year is that i really need to stop entering only platform fighters at primarily fgc events

@Churchofthebell Move Clairen down 1-2 levels (she's smart but not THAT smart) , Fleet down 1 level, and Lox up 1 level (mans legit one of the main orchestrators for the fire capital coup and basically found immortality) and it's solid

@Shadow_CFL The game feels pretty good for the most part but man I can’t get into the new design style. The pixelated art of the first game is what charmed me so much and inspired so many people to make so many creative things with it. Just a nitpick. Not trying to ruin anyone’s fun
