The prudent utilisation of the Sovereign Development Fund alongside other foreign currency reserves reflects a carefully calibrated approach to debt management. This achievement stands as a testament to President Muizzu’s clear vision and diligent efforts to strengthen the nation’s financial position, reduce debt burdens, and safeguard long-term economic resilience. It sends a strong signal of confidence to investors and underscores the Government’s dedication to responsible economic stewardship for the benefit of the Maldivian people.
