We, the women of #ShaheenBaghs all over India, strongly condemn the brutal terrorist attack on the Gurudwara in Kabul. We stand in strong solidarity with our #Sikh sisters and brothers who have been a shining beacon of hope in hard times across country, race, caste and creed.

Atleast 6 women who had come to enquire about the situation were manhandled by the police, and roughly taken away into detainment. We will not rest until they are released. We demand that Delhi Police releases all detainees immediately! #ShaheenBagh #ReleaseDetainees

We want to highlight our peaceful co-operation with the police force and lack of retaliation this morning. We want to know why were we manhandled? why was the tent destroyed? Why was our furniture taken away? Is destroying them also a part of preventing public health emergency?

We understand and agree with the need for social distancing in view of the #corona virus pandemic. Our protest was purely symbolic with only 2-3 women present at a time. In spite of these measures, why did the police come to remove us today? #ShaheenBaghProtests #Covid19India

Update (1/2) - At 7.30am,24 March, the @DelhiPolice used coercive force to dismantle our protest site,even though it had been scaled down to symbolic form considering #COVIDー19 precautions. In the process 6 women and 3 male volunteers have been detained #ShaheenBaghProtest
