Chandigarh: On CBSE's On-Screen Marking system, CBSE Regional Head, Rajesh Kumar Gupta says, "Regarding your question about the website being hacked, I completely deny it. I am rejecting this allegation outright. Because exams are being conducted offline so there are no questions of website being hacked..."

This Audi car owner is saying that the government should keep two different petrol prices. Expensive petrol for people who own luxury and costly cars, and cheaper petrol for poor people, two-wheeler riders, and taxi drivers. He said that rich people like them can afford petrol no matter how expensive it becomes. According to him, expensive petrol does not affect them because they only want comfort. He says the government should provide cheaper petrol to poor people, and in return, they are ready to buy expensive petrol themselves.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is likely to discontinue the “Indore Pattern” currently used for waste management in the city. Officials say rising maintenance costs, low waste segregation levels and declining efficiency of processing plants have forced the administration to rethink the system. The model, inspired by Indore’s successful cleanliness campaign, focused on door-to-door garbage collection, waste segregation and local processing. However, PMC officials believe the system did not deliver the expected results in Pune due to implementation challenges and lack of public participation. The civic body is now preparing a new waste management policy tailored to Pune’s local needs. The revised strategy is expected to focus on better accountability, technology-based monitoring and restructuring of waste processing facilities. #PuneNews #PMC #WasteManagement #CleanPune #Punetimesmirror

Look how far things have gone !

Pune's garbage collection system is facing a massive crisis, and the reason behind it is absolutely shocking. Out of over 10,000 workers assigned to keep our city clean, only about 40% are actually doing their jobs on the ground. A detailed internal report by the solid waste management department reveals that around 450 to 500 sanitation workers are allegedly deployed at the private residences of political leaders, including MLAs, corporators, and former office-bearers. Instead of cleaning the streets, these municipal employees are reportedly being used for personal duties like housekeeping and driving, all while drawing their full salaries from the taxpayer-funded PMC budget. What makes it worse is that this isn't a new issue. The investigation shows that some workers have been completely absent from their original cleaning postings for 5 to 10 years. Even though a detailed report on this mess was submitted to senior civic officials last year, political pressure and frequent transfers of senior officers have successfully delayed any concrete action. With the city's cleanliness visibly suffering, PMC Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram has now stepped in and ordered a strict verification process, promising that anyone found guilty of exploiting the system will face consequences. #Punetimesmirror #PuneNews #PMC #WasteManagement #CivicIssues

Serious safety concerns have emerged on Nagar Road National Highway after several heavy cement dividers were reportedly shifted from their original position to create an unauthorized shortcut for vehicles. The altered route is being used by commuters to save travel time, but locals say it is creating dangerous traffic conditions. Residents fear that sudden lane crossings and uncontrolled vehicle movements on the busy highway could lead to major accidents and traffic congestion. Many have questioned how such large dividers were moved without official approval. Citizens are now urging civic authorities and traffic police to immediately inspect the area and restore the dividers before any serious incident takes place. #NagarRoad #PuneTraffic #RoadSafety #PuneNews #Punetimesmirror

The mess that Tata digital strategy finds itself in was entirely predictable. Oh wait, I did just that, four years ago 🙃🙃

RBI refused to investigate upon topmost official blowing whistle. Amazing. Everyone from top to bottom involved at HDFC Bank. MSRDC on the other side. 🙂 indianexpress.com/article/expres…

🚨 Six months jail sentence for Byju Raveendran. Over the past 18 months, Byju has been found in contempt of court in the UAE, the US and now Singapore. As all this happens, no one knows where he is currently.

🔥 We took the bullets. They hired the lawyers. The Govt just spent ₹244 CRORE in legal fees to fight its own soldiers in court. The goal? To stop them from getting benefits worth just ₹109 CRORE. They literally paid lawyers 2.2x MORE, just to deny justice to our troops. Taxpayer money burned. Heroes harassed. Bureaucracy 1, Logic 0.

In 2021, HDFC Bank taps Maharashtra state road development corp for deposit. MSRDC promises ₹25000 crore from its land acquisition fund. Bank agreees 6.01% as interest even as it pays 3.5% for others. Bank clears 2.51% extra interest for MSRDC but it is paid by marketing department through vendors.

Politicians like Pratap Sarnaik declare assets far beyond their ministerial salary. Per his 2024 election affidavit, his assets are ~₹333 crore (up from ₹16 crore in 2009), mainly from real estate, hotels, and the Vihang Group of companies. That easily covers luxury EVs like the Tesla Model Y (which he took delivery of in Sept 2025 and gifted to his grandson) and the new Mercedes. Salary is just one small part of their income.
