🚱 Water Supply Disruptions #NoDryTapsJoburg 7 September 2025 15h20 - Cllr Devon Steenkamp Eikenhof Pump Station Under Strain Joburg Water has informed us that Rand Water is experiencing power dips, causing the Eikenhof Pump Station to operate at only 75% capacity. This reduced output is now affecting several Joburg Water reservoirs, which is starting to result in: Low water pressure and No water supply in certain areas Joburg Water is currently awaiting feedback from Rand Water on when the system will be stabilised. If you are experiencing low pressure or no water, please notify me with your address and time so I can escalate this directly to Joburg Water. Kindly store water where possible. @CityPowerJhb It has been more than 24 hours now with no power in Bromhof and still not ETR?? Come on guys. If the repair is fixed what is the issue with restoration? Please can we get an update on this.

@THEDEVCHEV Unfortunately there is still no water in Bromhof and despite having logged calls with @JHBWater there is still no feedback as to what the issue is.

🚱 #RandparkRidge #Boskruin #Bromhof #NoDryTapsJoburg 18 February 2025 Time: 07h05 - Cllr Devon Steenkamp The Randpark Ridge Reservoir, Olivedale Reservoir and Boshkop Reservoir were closed last night from 6pm to 5am for Water Shedding on top of that there was water burst that occured prior to water shedding. The outlet was reopened this morning and water will slowly return to pipes. If water has not returned by 11am please let me know,as you may be affected by a burst pipe, airlock.
