@rahuprincess The soap what romans used came from Mesopotamia and India. Guess how did romans went almost bankrupt? Also you are a fucking germanic. You have nothing to do with Greeks and Romans

so, not only was SOAP present in basically every european household from ancient rome onwards because it was made with fireplace ash and animal fat, two things everyone had access to, and cooked in the kitchen. then, we also industrialised it when we synthesised caustic soda aka lye from common salt, making it easy, cheap and clean to mass produce. but even before the actual discovery of the chemical reaction that creates soap, we still had a bunch of grooming methods that worked just fine also.

@Shamrat330 @jtrocksforever Mmmhmm sure Sandeep. We are the monkeys. Definitely not the extremely hairy, short, brown people from the subcontinent who throw excrement at each other.

@UBERSOY1 This shows similarity, not descent. Slavic ancestry pulls the Greeks northeast in G25 and creates artifacts, like above. S. Italians and S. Greeks do have similar amounts of ancient Greek ancestry tho. I estimate 60-70% at least. Better (academic) map below by @iosif_lazaridis:

@Shamrat330 @Turiya_ @yajnadevam @IndusBull786 No, Sarazm is only being used as a proxy; that does not necessarily imply direct descent. The Iranian-related ancestry is genetically similar, but still distinct from both Iranian hunter-gatherers and Iranian Neolithic farmers.👇

You can actually follow the trail of steppe ancestry migrating south based on the samples. Any claim of 1900-1500 BCE ingres is unviable. Kashmir, well integrated into the Indian civilization and is mentioned in Panini 6th BCE had no steppe ancestry for another half a millennium (200 CE) after Swat! Steppe was neither in India nor Iran even into the first few centuries of the historical era.

Map of ancient DNA samples and their age. You can see the details of individual samples at haplotree.info Left: All pre-2K BCE samples outside the subcontinent are either female or L or J or R2 haplogroup. Right: All swat samples are 950 BCE or later, with one outlier

@Shamrat330 @Turiya_ @yajnadevam @IndusBull786 We also now have the latest Chalcolithic samples from Turkmenistan, published in 2025, which lack Anatolian ancestry and further support the conclusions of the 2019 paper by Vasant Shinde.👇
