Okay I need some help… My 3080 is becoming way too annoying lately with all the power draw and heat issues. I’m considering a 9060 XT or a 9070 XT. What do we think?

@ShaneAugust If you're gonna game on Linux, AMD is the move. From a Windows standpoint, it's not worth the headache to use anything but NVIDIA.

@kr00tmantech Yea I’ve been seeing that, I saw some benchmarks showing a 3080 running at almost 80c while the 9060 xt at full tilt running at like 60c.

@AscendancePCs What’s wrong with the AMD cards? I honestly don’t do much working lately on windows mainly editing on mac and Ive been testing out linux gaming too.

@ShaneAugust Please don't. I deal with these things all of the time, just spend the money on a 5070 Ti. At least it'll work.

@kr00tmantech I have undervolted it but i’m still running into thermal issues, even re-pasted it. Honestly i don’t need a big upgrade i just want something more efficient without a lot of compromises and the 9060 xt looks promising

@ShaneAugust have you tried undervolting it... I did a test comparing the 6950xt vs the 9060xt 16 gb, and honestly the 9060xt did way way better than i thought. It basically killed the 6950xt for me
