Ridiculously peaceful here. Small town remote island life in Japan certainly has an appeal. I'd probably go crazy after a year here but it has been a treat this golden week #Kozushima

Staying in a Ryokan (traditional Japanese hotel) is an experience every time. Not my first time, but when you get to the far ends of Japan they can be the only option. I usually avoid these due to their shared showers, which I can't stand. Still, it is a really nice #Kozushima

Passed Cinnabar Island (aka Oshima) on the jet ferry and went several more islands down. It's so quiet #Kozushima

Almost finished playing through Tokyo Mirage Sessions. I was a bit cheeky yesterday about it, but I have a lot to say. Seriously my note file is over 22 pages and I'm in chapter 5 of the game

Now that foreign visitors are returning to Japan, I get to go back to seeing people on their third day posting content like "Ah yes now that I understand Japan wholly, I shall explain this perfect society to the rest of the world" Yeah I'm sure you got this chief

Fine. Clarification: I'm in chapter 4 of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. I'm playing it on Hard, and game design bad. Writing also bad. Fun characters and great style. Dungeon and battle music is nails on a chalkboard
