Good morning, 5 years ago today, during the height of the pandemic, we posted this video inviting health professionals to join us for an online seminar. We were notifying the healthcare sector of the availability of 150,000 The Good Grief Trust condolence and signposting cards, funded by the @DHSCgovuk to be sent to 250 NHS Trusts and 3000 GP practices as an emergency response, to help those grieving at home find tailored bereavement services when they needed it most. Access to immediate support for those who suffered the loss of someone they loved during the pandemic, under the most heartbreaking circumstances. The year marks our 10th anniversary of the charity and we are proud that we are: * The UK’s leading bereavement network. * 1000+ tailored bereavement services under one umbrella 🧡☂️ * We have donated over 250,000 cards across the sector to date. * Over 100 NHS Trusts nationwide regularly use our card as essential part of the toolkit of many health professionals working to support bereaved families. * GPs, emergency services, Metropolitan Police, community groups, funeral directors, crematoria, Register Offices, schools, universities, HR departments use this resource. *We pioneered National Grief Awareness Week *We created the Sit With Hope campaign - 1000+ Help and Hope plaques to date, installed on benches nationwide We are now in talks with the DHSC to reinstate funding for this essential, cost effective, comprehensive, proven resource.
