@Naomi_D_Harvey @sammyjhyde @ThomasRowland90 @asherblab Nice discussion, we have tried to disentangle this by looking at puppies personality in different breeds. We found a large litter/individual effect over breed...still a lot more can be done. nature.com/articles/s4159…

@sammyjhyde @ThomasRowland90 @asherblab So we can’t know from studying adult dogs whether the average differences are inherent to the dogs or because of differences in how we’ve raised them or view them from stereotypes. There is very little evidence when practical tests are done (tho sample size is usually too small).
