Our clients, Jade Montserrat, Amy Sharrocks and Madeleine Collie have spoken out about their case against the Tate Exchange. The outcome is a testament to our clients whose bravery and compassion was unwavering. theguardian.com/artanddesign/2…

Rishi Sunak and his wife sit on a fortune of £730,000,000. That’s around twice the estimated wealth of King Charles III. Remember this whenever he talks about making “tough decisions” that working class people will pay for.

There is much we agree with in the @InquiryCSA's report - but we'd like to see recommendations go even further. Mandatory reporting without a criminal penalty is mandatory in name only. Children are helped by actions, not intentions. iicsa.org.uk/final-report

The contortions @inquiryCSA has performed to use the words #MandatoryReporting whilst delivering little material increase to the number of referrals is quite exceptional. The model has no precedent anywhere in the world. It's uniquely IICSA's.

There are no words to describe this utter shambles adequately. It’s beyond hyperbole - & parody. Reality tho is that ordinary people are paying the price. The interests of the Tory party should concern no-one right now. A General Election is now a democratic imperative.

Today the final report by IICSA (Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse) is published. My thoughts go to all the survivors who will be affected by the report today. My view is simple - words are no longer enough, we need action to be taken on any recommendations #childabuse

@YehudisG @InquiryCSA Sadly, it is a continuation of the unwillingness to engage in this discussion and a failure of the Inquiry to the victims and survivors in these organisations and communities.

I'm curious to see how the @InquiryCSA are going to address this in their final report. This was a theme across many religious groups. The right to freely practice religion ≠ the absence of safeguarding compliance. One does not trump the other. #IICSA #sexualabuse

The UOHC described outside agencies attempts at approaching the topic of safeguarding in their community as "Arrogant, overbearing and intrusive." - IICSA Hearing, 2020 #itsnotok #IICSA #sexualabuse @MigdalEmunahUK

It’s worth noting that for 20 years we have had a statutory duty to report suspicions of bribery or money laundering, but not child sex abuse. We protect our money more than our children. Let’s hope IICSA recommends a change in its final report today #iicsabigticket

@Richard_Scorer @SCynic1 Children in my Haredi community have no language to disclose. On the rare occasion - as an adult - they do disclose, it is too late.

Despite commenting on the frustrations of victims who do not receive adequate compensation, the report states that the redress scheme will not give awards comparable with civil proceedings.

A nationwide redress scheme is another highly anticipated outcome of the report. It's scope and outcome however remains to be seen as it is clear a significant amount of development is required.

If adopted, the final report will have wide ranging and substantial repercussions across the child sexual abuse safeguarding and reparations landscape, but it is by no means the perfect outcome. Follow the thread for the big recommendations and my thoughts: @AnnOlivarius
