Well, year one is in the books. I still can’t thank @drkristinclark and @WHCLemoorePrez enough for this opportunity. I have learned so much from @WHCLemoorePrez, and I now realize just how much I don’t know. Thanks to everyone at @WHCLemoore for their support!

Educators are not burning out because they need to do better at self-care. Educators are burning out because of how they are being treated, what is being expected of them, low levels of respect, etc. Maybe we wouldn't need as much self-care if we addressed the other issues.

It has been an amazing 3 days of learning, growing and sharing! Megan and I have been working together on the EDU CoP for the past 14 months and got to meet in-person for the first time! Feeling so grateful. @CCCAOE @WHCLemoore

Today’s Education job fair was a great success! Students were able to complete applications and even interview!

Today I was dreading teaching a review lesson for math. I had a student log in from a doctor’s office. Another student said, “Mrs. T., it looks like someone is at the doctor.” This student was at her chemotherapy treatment and still logged in to learn math today! She is my hero!

Support future teachers! Teaching Fellows is an essential component of the teacher prep programs in the Central Valley.
