@FlameCon @9pm Y'all, this sucks. It sucks for everyone every time you do it. It can't be great for you either, having to shepherd the process through all of these constant technical problems. Is receiving and reviewing applications really more trouble and stress than this?

@lingerie_addict Vermont talks about this every fall. We're stuck between 'we need tourist dollars' and 'locals can't afford to live here anymore', and we can easily see how much worse it can get.

Just to be serious for a second, tourism absolutely affects the people who live there. There are pretty regular conversations on here from folks who discuss how tourism has ruined their countries, pushed the natives out, made things too expensive, and ruined their neighborhoods.
