Hearing that Jenson Brooksby is looking for a coach, he’s busted thru Eric Nuñez and now Leon Smith has bitten the dust.

The WTA Finals are departing Saudia Arabia according to multiple media outlets. 2026 will be the final year in Riyadh. Despite previous interest to extend the three year deal post this year, discussions with the Saudi Tennis Federation did not lead to a renewal. Charlotte, North Carolina has emerged as a top contender.

Massive effort from Gauff to get to the final, win the 2nd set- raised her level exponentially but gotta think Sabalenka winning 10 matches in a row is tracking for a bigtime season. Very surprised by the loudness of the crowd. In between serves. Threw me off.

I gotta say i love the dignified broadcast team of Petchey, Navratilova, Petkovic. Extremely impressive. Exactly the way I enjoy a televised match. Martina is so so good.

That's a heck of a crowd for the women's final at this (per Tennis Twitter) crappy tournament. Not sure people realize how big this stadium is, because it's enclosed in a far bigger one. And they're INTO it, too. From the first point.

@shaptennispod The injury happened in Madrid (2024) and not against Sinner.

“ Too good”, Fils to Lehecka, back to back Czech’s in the final. Lehecka was the class of Indian Wells a couple years ago, hurt himself, lost to Sinner, then battled injuries for 18 months. Dumped Berdych, the whole thing. Now he’s firing on all cylinders again. Beast.

Kind of thinking that was the best Sabalenka’s played. Ever. Controlled, violent tennis. 🎾

@jmgmoron So many tennis people in South Florida. But the tournament is not able to pull in the real tennis people with the way it’s currently setup and the costs. It’s not intimate when you compare it to Cincy, Indian Wells, US Open etc Those places offer a much better fan experience

Está jugando Sinner unos cuartos de final de M1000 y la grada está así. ¿Pero qué está pasando este año en el Miami Open con el público?

Fun to watch these guys battle. Tommy serving really well. Hitting his spots and ripping the plus one
