@OpenCourt

Still trying to figure out who, exactly, the "Establishment" is tbh. And fighting the good fight every day - often in vain.

@CaroWozniacki This is a weird post that seems odd to me as I thought she was a right handed player with a 2 handed backhand. Am I missing something here? Great player who I assume is cheering for the Knicks tonight!

Aaaaaaand ... The Canadian took care of business, as one does. (And won his final round to make the main draw as well).

British Muhammad will now play Canadian Adam Farag-Cao in the second round of qualifying. (Which is how I came across it, in case you were wondering about that, too).

Interesting first-round qualifying match at a low-level ITF in Pakistan. Common name, though.

Tough for Anastasia Potapova, who had such a great run in Rome last week but STILL finds herself in the qualies in Rome as the No. 1 seed. If someone WDs before start of qualifying play Monday, though, she'd squeeze into the MD. Sked here: opencourt.ca/2026/05/03/wta…

Gabriel Diallo is out of Rome last minute (with rising Belgian Alexander Blockx squeezing in). He did actually get to Rome. I haven't looked into it yet but he's really struggling and I would bet that he's just not 100% physically.

I randomly watched her practice at United Cup in Sydney this year (found out later I was in a secret forbidden zone and got a stern talking-to. My bad 😳🙄). What an athlete. Always surprised she hasn’t done better
