A 'Zero FIR' has been registered against a woman at the Expressway Police Station in Noida. The woman made derogatory remarks about the Prime Minister during the protest over the NEET paper leak at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on July 23, 2026. A case has been registered against the accused, Ruchika Singh. The complaint states that this act undermined the dignity of the Prime Minister's constitutional office. According to the complaint, the statement was made with the deliberate intent to incite ill-will and disturb public peace. The police have registered a case under Sections 352, 353(1), and 356(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

This time nothing in the old toolkit will work. Not caste arithmetic. Not communal polarisation. Not freebies. Not the usual noise. Nothing. And here's the part I'm waiting for. When the loss comes, Yogi won't own it. He'll turn around and pin it on the Centre. Watching that blame game unfold is going to be something. Because that's the moment the whole Sangh unit starts to crack. Once they start pointing fingers inward, the discipline they're famous for begins to slip. They don't have an answer for this one. And mark my words. This government leans on people because its own base lets it. That's the whole deal. A lot of them are suddenly saying the Modi government needs to learn to ignore things, develop a sense of humour, and so on. But these Sanghis, they don't do that. They can't negotiate. So it turns. And a recoil like that doesn't just miss. It leaves you with a bloody nose.
