Even when they sunset everything i still had the same game and community to suffer with. Just feeling apart of something like that will forever mean the world to me. Even taking breaks I never really stopped consuming content or interacting with it. Ill def be finishing it

I don't think I'll ever connect with a game like d2 again tbsr. Idk something about it just made it easier to be me. Went from trying to raid micless to begging my friends to pull me thru one to speedrunning raids in 20 mins with randoms. It feels werid to see it go...

To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created.
