@Nevertoldmewhat With Via I think the interest factor plot wise is that Goetia marriages are forced at that age. So there is a strong timer on something very bad coming up. And Stolas chose right now to set his ability to help her on fire. The actual age gaps are pretty meh given FizzOz/BeeTex

The only age we get told to have an impact is Octavia being close to 18. And I don't get that too, narrative wise it definitely makes sense, we need the drama, but it could've also been "When Via gets 100 she's allowed to take her part as an heir"+

@doriaplume Something similar has come up in a fanfic I'm a prereader for. A character who is meant to be a very mixed bag of caring and sadistic was starting to come across as a good guy. So the author made sure to give him some mean scenes as a reminder of the sadism.

@SharlanM I still don’t really get the point of killing a 100% good person neither, but I’d like to understand why they’ve written it like this. The dude could’ve been revealed as attracted to animals when Loona reveals herself or something disturbing like that? But maybe it’s just me 😆

Well I get it could have upset some fans, because in Sinsmas Blitzø related so much with the target that they chose to not do the job. Shorts aren’t that deep and they’re just about fun jobs, okay, but why wouldn’t he relate to that dude who loved his adopted children? (1/2)

@doriaplume From memory this is the first time IMP has killed someone who is clearly good. I can imagine the writers wanting to avoid making Blitz into a fluffy marshmallow given hes being so caring of Stolas. I can see it going over better if this wasn't the first good person killed though.

I get the people who say there is some mischaracterization here, and I think that maybe this short should’ve been released sooner to stick to the canon events better. I’ve genuinely enjoyed it though, but it felt a bit off considering the S2 events. (2/2)
