I did this interview just over a month ago reflecting on the overt racist attacks on ethnic minorities (“P**i bashing”) in the late 1960s when as a child I came to the UK as an Asian Kenyan immigrant.. amidst far-right demonstrations by the then National Front.. I really thought those days were behind us.. had no idea that just 4 weeks later we would see a resurrection of organised racist hatred and violence spreading across the nation.
