@TrncTr86509666 Yeah but when he was signed he came from a t3 org with hardly any experience in t1. It was expected he'd struggle imo. He only played like 2 months with ash and at the time the whole team was struggling
It's really hard to save Ast rn; only Staehr and Jabbi are playing the game, Hooxi is constantly tilting while he's an IGL and he shouldn't have that kind of personality, and Phzy is always getting outplayed by AWPers who are supposedly "worse" than him from hypex to cmtry
@TrncTr86509666 I just don't see how hypex stats have been better than Phzy though? Stake isn't really a t1 tournament, krakow. Most games were against t2/t3 opponents.
@Sharmoutasa Bounty ss1 and krakow, good form in tier2 also, keep getting better imo under snax / imd. At least he shows his improvment while phzy is still the same when he comes to ast but i will not compare both of them
@TrncTr86509666 Because he was a t3 player, not a good talent. Throughout the whole time ash never had a solid awper. Apart from IEM Atlanta what other tournament did Hypex perform well at? Even at Atlanta he only played against 1 actual good team
@TrncTr86509666 I don't think that's true tbh, slend/acor were okay under him. Hypex was playing in t3 before he joined and only worked with ash for a couple of months, not much time to integrate and improve. And he still had a 1.07 rating, just struggled against t1 teams
@TrncTr86509666 Like you said he is part of the problem. They should try sign ash imo. I think their best move would be to sign jimmy, you don't really see players as good as him available. And I'd risk signing kl1m, I think he has a lot more potential than phzy
@Sharmoutasa I'm not 100% sure the problem is Ruggah, he's part of it, yes, but I think AST also select wrong player to build the team, it feels like they've lost their identity after the era, especially the qualities of the Danish CS.
@TrncTr86509666 Whole team changed, yet always struggle on the same maps, always the same perma ban etc. No improvements in D2, Mirage, regressed on Ancient/Overpass. Never once picked Anubis under him even though the players played it in their previous teams etc
@TrncTr86509666 Astralis had tier 1 players though and nothing worked, ruggah doesn't know how to create a system and improve players. No matter who they sign the issues will be the same until he leaves.
@TrncTr86509666 I think kyxsan is better for this team than hooxi. But also very hard to say what the problem is when ruggah is the most useless coach a team can have. The whole team changed except him and the issues still remain the same
@Sharmoutasa I talked about Phzy and Ryu's issues from the beginning; even I knew Phzy would be inconsistent, but he just didn't realize it. So he should stop be igl imo
@TrncTr86509666 I mean karrigan had the same issue this year with Faze, when the pieces aren't good he can't make it work. Hooxi is bad individually so he can't make up the difference when phzy/ryu don't perform. they simply need better players
@Sharmoutasa What more things could they do when you make the wrong call, or is that all you can do? Or does he really think Ryu is Niko and Phzy is Monesy? If he was the one who selected them, he should know what they're capable of. Instead of complaining, try harder.
@TrncTr86509666 I think he is tilted because he expects more from the players, he still thinks he plays with monesy and niko and that he will be carried. The reality is that he is terrible individually this years. You just can't afford to have 2 bad riflers and an inconsistent awper imo
@Sharmoutasa I don't think Hooxi is that bad at all because I didn't expect too much from IGL's fragging. I only paid attention to his strategy and the spirit he brought, and both of those were inconsistent. You could see the mirage yesterday when he was very tilted, not even communicating
@TrncTr86509666 We will see how they will look in a month when the major comes, and how improved they will be. They won't have any excuses, 1 month till Stage 2 so they have plenty of time to practice and get better. If not they have to make changes
@Sharmoutasa ast is lacking players who can make solo entries rather than pack entries( spacetaking) only jabbi could do that rn so i wanna go for guys with insane firepower could taking some hard unbelievable shot
@TrncTr86509666 I'd rather them take a risk on kl1m or some great upcoming awper, and find an upgrade on ryu. I think jimmy rez would be a good replacement but roles don't fit
@TrncTr86509666 I think Ryu would work in a team with kyxsan imo, but not in a team with hooxi. Hooxi is the worst rated player against top 50 teams, and as an igl relies on firepower. I think kyxsan is a better player so having ryu won't be an issue but won't be great either
@Sharmoutasa He is that kind of player, that's why I want to bring him along, because I think he's more consistent. Players like Phzy will give you more power than Ryu; Ryu is average but makes fewer mistakes, while they make more mistakes but then shine at some point.
@TrncTr86509666 Phzy is such a weird player, like he has really good games that show he can play better but at the same time he has some terrible games and he is a liability. I don't have a lot of expectations for the major but if they do badly they should try and change a player/coach
@TrncTr86509666 I think they should try upgrade both ryu and phzy tbh. I think demon would be good in those roles and he is better than Ryu. I also think they should try sign kl1m or maybe ICY(ik its a risk, but every player that left VP got better after)
@Sharmoutasa I'm not really considering them going to semis, it's just that essentially what Hoi has brought to System and br0 is that he's at least a solid anchor, while you'll see that even though he's an anchor, Ryu goes down early quite a few times, Dust 2 vs Liquid when Jabbi
@TrncTr86509666 I think br0 is better, just meant that br0 started really well and the whole team was making semis in almost all the tournaments at the start then became worse. I think they are just becoming predictable and ruggah has no solutions
@Sharmoutasa I dont think so, br0 system is much different than ryu, br0 is surely no rescource while ryu is much better at least he has support from hooxi , awp igl will never sacrifice as much as an IGL rifle because the AWP can't go entry. So i think what br0 did is better than ryu
@HivoltageCS@TrncTr86509666 I don't think jabbi should be removed just because he tilts tbh. Apex was tilting all the time and now they always win. The roster is just not good enough. They need a better coach too. Sign ash, kl1m imo. I don't see hooxi leaving atm
@TrncTr86509666 I am inclined to agree. Then next is probably jabbi or phzy, unfortunately. Too bad when jabbi just started playing well and there aren’t any good AWPers available.
@TrncTr86509666@HivoltageCS Not really tbh, Astralis spent years of being mismanaged, it was obvious it would be hard to sign top players outside of Denmark. They had to first fix the org, provide some stability and then sign better players. There weren't even that many top players available
