@JTdaTakeover @wockhardtflame I wouldn’t go quite that far….he started him his entire freshman year, even though it was clear Reed Sheppard was better. He started him every game last year & averaged 34 minutes a game. He’s definitely been loyal to him, maybe to a fault. The development piece is true though

@JTdaTakeover @Playy____ Yeah, Cal usually only has those top guys for a year, so they don’t develop much while they’re in school…most of their development comes in the pros. So, guys who end up staying around like DJ often don’t develop much
