Just back from another lovely weekend with @SharonGoodwin17, this time exploring around #Holmfirth. Always precious time together, blowing away some cobwebs and putting a bit of distance between us and the bustle of life.

The perils of aging just don't seem to affect @SharonGoodwin17 who looks better every year. A very happy birthday to the love of my life, the beating heart of our family and all-round wonderful woman 🎉😘❤️

It was in the early hours 19 years ago today when @SharonGoodwin17 and I welcomed Lyra into the world. Tempus fugit. A young woman who faces challenges head on and overcomes them time after time. Happy birthday to our brave , beautiful Junior Daughter 🎉❤️ x

Delighted to take delivery of the new book by my mate @mascarandy, whose expertise of this region is as broad as the Dales themselves. Can't wait to savour this one.

Just back from an absolutely wonderful few days in #Budapest with @SharonGoodwin17. An idyllic time for us to enjoy each other's company in one of Europe's beautiful historic capitals.

Precious time in #Ribchester today with @SharonGoodwin17. Visited the sculpture garden, Roman bathhouse and museum and the C12th church of St Wilfred with its C14th nave, a 'squint,' medieval wall painting of St Christopher carrying Christ and a tombstone of a Knight of St John of Jerusalem.

A fantastic collection of birthday reading. Looking forward to getting started on this lot.

Just back from another idyllic week in glorious #Lincolnshire with @SharonGoodwin17. It was our family summer home from home for 14 years and now the kids are older, we returned to experience it anew for ourselves. More golden memories to join those we already made over the years.
