🚨BC Minister Discloses Alaskan Tribes DRIPA Agenda🚨 Minister of Mines appears to let slip that Alaskan Tribes is one of 20 DRIPA related cases the Premier has said pose “significant legal liability” but he and the Attorney General REFUSE to disclose. ➡️How could the Attorney General ‘tap the Premier on the shoulder’ to delay DRIPA changes when the NDP knows the legal risks? Yes, you read that right.” Yes that’s true. Where does this lead us? ➡️US Tribes eligible for Mineral Tax Revenue from B.C. resource projects? ➡️US Tribes get equity ownership of B.C. resource projects? ➡️US Tribes can claim rights to private property in British Columbia? Families in Bulkley Valley - Stikine are often forced to travel across the province to access specialized health care and testing. My recent questioning of the Minister of Health regarding changes to the medical travel assistance program led to this response: “I know that there are increased pressures on the program….with the rising costs that are associated with running these programs. Our partners who deliver these programs together with us have made difficult decisions…” The bottom line is that some families are no longer able to access this program because of these recent changes.

We are celebrating mining month in British Columbia. The ‘Golden Triangle’ is located in the Bulkley Valley - Stikine riding, which presents major opportunities in Northwest BC. Seabridge Gold KSM project has been part of this investment for the past 25 years.

My address in the house today was a reflection of what is needed in Bulkley Valley - Stikine and Northern B.C.

Meeting with Engineers and Geoscientists BC provided me with a valuable opportunity to expand my knowledge in this field. Geoscientists are involved in examining and analyzing minerals, soils, energy resources, fossils, oceans and freshwater, atmospheric phenomena, weather systems, environmental chemistry and biology, and natural hazards.

I attended a great meeting with the Truck Loggers Association. The Association provided information on the state of Forestry in BC. There was a lot of discussion on the proposed Bill 14, the Forest Statues Amendment Act. The industry does not need any more regulations. There have been 50 policy changes since 2018.

My response to Bill 14, Forest Statutes Amendment Act, 2026. This bill introduces major changes to BC’s forestry system without enough clarity, consultation or accountability.

I was pleased to introduce and meet with Cyra Yunkws, Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine Area B Director in Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.

I find it increasingly interesting that BC Con leadership candidates talk about leading the Province, but very little about leading the caucus (which is the team they need in order to lead the Province). And those who talk about their credentials in leading a caucus, have yet to have ever picked up the phone to some of us on caucus. My riding is a battle ground. I flipped it from the NDP. Yet, even before I endorsed Iain Black, candidates came to my community, and neither contacted me as the sitting MLA, nor asked anything about how to win my community or what its demographics are. It reeks of arrogance. Only 3 candidates have ever reached out. Yuri, Peter and @iainblackbc Ironically all have run businesses and truly understand what it takes to build a team. For me, leadership style means most. Because without the MLA’s doing the groundwork in their communities on behalf of the leader, who the leader is, will matter very little.
