@aus_drew In my opinion Mannix should be the starting GK but she is used pretty often. Regardless, both go to options for GK were out. Moloney and Eddy have been critical the last few years, it’s a bit like the Swifts starting the season without Proud and Hadley- they were greatly missed.

@Sharon_0414 2/3 starters (Mundy and Ellis). I think they struggled to fill Hannah Mundy's position in particular and this is where they lost and probably allowed Mi Mi to control the game. Makes you think, what if Moloney or Eddy is injured. That mid-court is very vulnerable.

Vixens not using their bench is a very valid criticism. However, all but one of our circle defenders are out. Using the bench wouldn’t change that, because one of the bench players is also out 💀. Di’s gonna need to be creative because this defense is not working #LIGvVIX

@aus_drew 100% some very random coaching decisions. Losing 3 key players greatly impacts a team, more so in motivation, momentum, and being able to claw back a deficit (through winning ball and gaining confidence).

@Sharon_0414 idk, I don't think you will win many games with only 34 1 point goals. The Vixens had by far the stronger attack unit but they lack cohesion when the Garbin-Austin duo is changed. Lack of offensive rebounds in particular with Graham on court showed this. Coaching failure.

Goes to show how much having options on the bench and your starting defenders impact momentum and motivation. We’ve seen how much two players have impacted the Swifts’ game. I highly doubt it would’ve been a loss with a full Vixens team #LIGvVIX
