Tag Team Teachers! My partner teacher conferencing with students on their data binders, and me conferencing with students on their personal narratives!
That’s a wrap on year 2…& it flew by. I’d like 2 say it got easier, but not sure that’s the case. Things are more normal & routine, but it’s a job full of variables which presents new “hard” everyday. I 🧡 my kids & my staff. I’m blessed.
Shoutout 2 @Sharoniscarin97 4 my sign!
Final product complete- invention ✅ Trial and error/failure ✅ Driving question answered ✅ Lots of learning and fun ✅ Truly proud of this PBL and how hard the kids worked and collaborated with one another!
When you are told to ask for something because “the worst you can be told is no”, you ask for the school popcorn machine to model an invention for your PBL!! Kids had a blast eating popcorn while collaborating! Even had a Watchdog to help today 🧡 🐾
Lincoln with the 2-pt conversion. It has been a learning experience with this being his first year in football (besides flag football last year). He’s learning to be more aggressive which leads to being more confident. He’s getting there! #TrustTheProcess#FutureBulldog
End of year character trait compliments! Each student had an envelope on their desk. Other students could write a compliment and put it in their envelope! Their positive spirit was awesome to watch as they created a complimentary environment ❤️
Text Mapping! Learned this process from another teacher in an online teacher group. The kids loved the process! They get to do it in groups tomorrow! Stay tuned!!!!
PBL final product- Published authors and illustrators! Thanks to Burkburnett’s Legacy Foundation, 45 students received a copy of their class book! #studentreasures#PBL#BeInSpireD
I had a couple students shadow me today to experience what life was like as a principal. They did morning announcements and facilitated a fire drill as part of their duties. They also did observations and provided valuable feedback. 😂 @Sharoniscarin97#TheBulldogWay#ThisIsUs
End product for our poetry PBL. Each kid made their own poetry anthology with the styles of poetry we studied. Laminated and bound, these kids were so excited to take these home!
