Tips/tricks for Gambling X
)Unit scale: establish a strict unit system and stick to it. Some bet $5/unit some bet $100/u which ever bracket you find yourself in regardless if you win 5-8 bets in a row you’re not him and will lose once you go bigger I promise you that. No shame in betting small just be consistent
)Emotions/discipline: if you can’t keep your emotions in check you might as well close your sports betting accounts and go try your luck with stocks/crypto. 95% of bettors who flip out after 1 game are betting more money than they’re comfortable losing. There’s nothing guaranteed in this industry not sure why you think cappers are Houdini when you lose 10 lottos a day then bet your remaining balance on a -110. Discipline just as important as maintaining a level head. 1% better a day adds up don’t turn a 5% loss into 50-75% being naive. “But sharp I need to make this shit back” You can either grind and win in small amounts or you can toss shit at the wall and hope it sticks.
)Parlays: I know a lot of y’all out there want to hit that +7500 odd and up life changing lay but you will go broke before hitting one in all likelihood. 2 teamers are fine, 3 teamers don’t make a habit of. Bookies make enough money let alone giving them more on unlikely lottos keep them minimal weekly
)Don’t chase losses: gambling losses are inevitable most gamblers crush their bankroll chasing one bad beat or one bad day. There will always be another game or sport to bet on the next day do not ruin your love for sports getting emotional
)Bankroll Management: You should never be betting 50%+ of your bankroll a day recipe for disaster otherwise. Bankroll is your sports betting account balance all too often guys will send me slips from FanDuel “is this good” and they have 2 pending bets and “$0.40” in their account. It’s a slow grind you want to be withdrawing from the books not consistently depositing.
)Volume: Some cappers have success with volume others get crushed. You don’t have to bet every sport every day and it’s very hard unless you know said sports inside and out to profit weekly/monthly/yearly. Be selective in your approach and only bet a few a day vs spraying the board
)Line shop: way too many bettors I deal with daily only use one book. Plenty of options out there: FanDuel/DraftKings/Caesars/Fanatics/Bet365 so on and so forth. Finding the best odds/edge over the books daily/monthly/yearly is only going to benefit you
)Straight bets: they’re 👑 and always will be 👑. I like to keep the juice -150 or so for money lines if I see value no reason to be playing anything higher than that. Hitting ATS if you’re at 57% and above that’s considered elite. Totals hardest to maintain consistently sharpest lines books offer
)Line movement: steam/sharp money doesn’t determine outcomes. Many times you’ll see a line swing away from a dog or an over and the dog covers & over hits. Just an example of the steam not meaning a thing. Injuries/weather are 2 main impacts to these lines majority of the time Vegas accounts for injury reports unless there’s late scratches. College sports the more dramatic with movement. Understand key # ‘s
-2.5/-6.5/-7/-9.5. -3.5 you’ll see hung often nearing dead numbers at -4.5/-5.5/-8.5 for football. You’ll encounter maybe 5% bets in your lifetime ending on 5. Same with totals “what do I need to achieve an over 52.5” the quicker you understand this you’ll begin learning how to cap and can make easy money when knowing the market.
