Well researched myth busting! Grad students are already working in close to deplorable financial conditions and with scarce scientific funding. Such misinformation from reputable grad schools only serve to further exacerbate problems in research and help no one. Do better.

I love being a postdoc & getting paid to do what I want to do. I also would love to get paid more and be able to afford living here. Not mutually exclusive! Academia as a whole needs to get paid more! Passion is amazing but sadly doesn’t pay the bills. We can be better. #Phdvoice
