Claude design is great... but it can’t design like this:

@0xPaulius Like I wouldn’t want to waste tokens on edits that involves change the text. This can be done in Figma without wasting tokens on edits that won’t cost you anything.

Claude design is great… But can it design like this without burning your tokens, or taking away the flexibility you get with Figma? Well Voca can See how Voca made me a beautiful landing page with a whole reservation flow directly in Figma.

@elvissun Well 28 screens doesn’t mean the user goes through each one it’s depends if they a new user or not. But the point is that you can generate full flows under 3 mins directly in your Figma canvas without making it look like slop.

@bhaveshbuildz Figma still is the default. Mobbin helps more than most people expect. Good references beat chasing “pro” tbh.

AI can build the apps but what about the DESIGN...? 🤔 Can anyone suggest tools which help you design your apps like a pro?

@AshleyStriblet Hmm interesting I am building a design tool I might test more about UX and improve its decisions for UX. But I think the future of design is when everything is connected together where you can create with context, and never generic slop again I don’t just mean design systems.

In the discussion around the future of design, folks have forgotten that a core part of UX is representing the user perspective. I'd argue that lack of UX in decisions around AI is why there is such low adoption today.

This is not even mediocre this is like straight up dog shi. I can find a better a design system in the Figma community. Wtf is this. You know what isn’t mediocre this: being able to make 28+ screens of a full onboarding flow directly in your Figma canvas without looking like slop.

@matt_teeixeira @elvissun I agree this is so much slop, and wasted a shi ton of tokens making this slop. My tool does better in the first iteration. Check it out it’s on my profile it generates real designs in your Figma canvas that doesn’t look like slop or whatever is this bs.

Unpopular opinion for Figma designers: Claude Code + Figma canvas / Figma Make is high-cortisol You waste hours prompting, wasting tokens and you end up with AI generated slop. This spikes my cortisol so much. But Voca (tryvoca.com) is such low cortisol, makes designs directly in my Figma canvas using my design system and doesn't make AI slop that spikes your cortisol. If it “looks” terrible then you should have used Voca first to design the whole interface in Figma with Voca to make the most stunning designs and not Claude’s slop, and then use Figma mcp to bring it to your codebase. You won’t waste tokens on AI slop interfaces. I am tired of them.

I told Claude to build me a Trello replica By noon, I maxed out my $100 plan The app looks really terrible. I think I need thousands of prompts, a team, and several $200 subscriptions to create something useful. This isn't looking good for AI right now

Most Figma designers are still wasting 1–2 hours manually building landing pages…and burning a shit-ton of Claude tokens on Figma MCP.
