I had been thinking (and I know others were too) that coverts would end up being pretty reasonable cs2 investments post gold tradeup update even tho their prices had gone up insanely high the supply was going to be destroyed at a crazy rate and people would always want to do the tradeups BUT I did not really factor in if gold prices got destroyed THIS hard for the update that if the prices of golds goes down the price people are willing to pay for the tradeups has to go down as well... So even though the fundamentals of coverts are pretty amazing theyre also gated by the health and price of golds and a lot and thats why they have been dropping HOWEVER, it is possible we see a plateau or rebound in gold prices at some point and then maybe coverts become one of the best cs2 investments left
